Politren M-3 is an oil-based technological lubricant used to lubricate crystallizers during casting of aluminum ingots; its efficiency significantly exceeds that of cylinder oil 52.

Safety Requirements, Toxicological Properties and Environmental Protection
The process lubricant Politren M-3 is a flammable liquid (paste). All components and lubricant in accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76 belong to the lowest hazard class IV of low-hazard chemical compounds.
The main components polluting the air of the working area when using process lubricant in the hot process of metal processing are mineral oil aerosol (MPC – 5 mg / m3) and carbon monoxide (CO) – (MPC – 20 mg / m3).
The premises in which work with lubricant is carried out must be equipped with continuously operating supply and exhaust mechanical ventilation. Monitoring the state of the air environment in production premises is carried out according to the schedule for monitoring the air environment of the workshop, agreed with the local sanitary and epidemiological service.
Maintenance personnel working with lubricants must be provided with a set of special clothing and personal protective equipment in accordance with typical industry standards.
Lubricant that gets on the skin of the hands and face should be removed with a clean rag, and the remains should be washed off with warm water and soap.

Polytren M-3 process lubricant is an oily liquid that is insoluble in water. Its maximum permissible concentration in water bodies (MPCV), determined by oil, is 0.4 mg/l.
