Politren M-3 A
Technological lubrication
Specificity
Politren M-3 A is an oil process lubricant used to lubricate crystallizers when casting aluminum ingots with automatic lubrication supply to the crystallizer. It can be used instead of a number of imported lubricants, including Perlube 2.

Performance characteristics
- when applied to the dividing surface, it forms a layer of lubricant with high antifriction properties
- due to high thermal stability, it ensures the production of aluminum ingots without additional lubrication of the crystallizer
- improves the quality of ingots
- does not corrode tools and machine parts
- does not contain substances that cause corrosion of metals
Use
- supplied ready for use
- is a cost-effective means for lubricating crystallizers when casting aluminum ingots
- applied to the tool using an automatic lubrication system
Safety Requirements, Toxicological Properties and Environmental Protection
Technological lubricant Politren M-3 A is a flammable liquid. In accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76, it belongs to the lowest hazard class IV of low-hazard chemical compounds.
The main components polluting the air of the working area when using technological lubricant in the hot metal processing process are mineral oil aerosol (MPC – 5 mg / m3) and carbon monoxide (CO) – (MPC – 20 mg / m3).
The premises in which work with lubricant is carried out must be equipped with continuously operating supply and exhaust mechanical ventilation. Monitoring the state of the air environment in production premises is carried out according to the schedule of monitoring the air environment of the workshop, agreed with the local sanitary and epidemiological service authorities.
Service personnel working with lubricants must be provided with a set of special clothing and personal protective equipment in accordance with standard industry standards.
Lubricant that gets on the skin of the hands and face should be removed with a clean rag, the remains should be washed off with warm water and soap.
If lubricant gets on the working parts of mechanisms, the floor, they are removed with a rag, and the remains are washed off with water and soap.
Polytren M-3 A process lubricant is an oily liquid that is insoluble in water.
Its maximum permissible concentration in water bodies (MPCV), determined by oil, is 0.4 mg/.
To develop and manufacture its products, POLIHIM uses its own laboratory and production facilities, which are equipped with all the necessary equipment.
