Politren MG-4
Anti-seize lubricant for die casting of aluminum alloys
Specificity
Politren MG-4 is an oil-based process lubricant for lubricating rods and individual sections of press molds where scoring and metallization are observed during the process of casting aluminum alloys under pressure; it is a composition containing oils, thickeners, anti-seize antifriction and other additives. It is also used to lubricate the press piston and pressing chamber.

Performance characteristics

Safety Requirements, Toxicological Properties and Environmental Protection
Technological lubricant Politren MG-4 is a flammable liquid (paste). According to GOST 12.1.007-76, the lubricant belongs to the lowest hazard class IV of low-hazard chemical compounds.
The main components polluting the air of the working area when using technological lubricant in hot metal processing processes are mineral oil aerosol (MPC – 5 mg / m3) and carbon monoxide (CO) – (MPC – 20 mg / m3).
The premises in which work with lubricant is carried out must be equipped with continuously operating supply and exhaust mechanical ventilation. Monitoring the state of the air environment in production premises is carried out according to the schedule of monitoring the air environment of the workshop, agreed with the local sanitary and epidemiological service authorities.
Maintenance personnel working with lubricants must be provided with a set of special clothing and personal protective equipment in accordance with standard industry standards.
Lubricant that gets on the skin of the hands and face should be removed with a clean soft cloth, and the remains should be washed off with warm water.
If lubricant gets on the working parts of mechanisms, the floor, they should be removed with a cloth, and the remains should be washed off with water and soap.
Politren MG-4 process lubricant is an oil paste that is insoluble in water. Its maximum permissible concentration in water bodies (MPCv), determined by oil, is 0.4 mg/l.
