Politren M-7
Technological lubrication
Specificity
- Politren M-7 is a lubricant concentrate based on specially prepared graphite of a certain dispersion, mineral oil, surfactants and additives for general and special purposes. The lubricant has increased thermal stability. Does not contain harmful phenol derivatives, organic chlorine compounds, nitrites.
- It is used for hot stamping of steels and alloys, for hot pressing of copper alloys and non-ferrous metal alloys. Additives and special graphite contained in the lubricant reduce friction and improve the overall characteristics of the lubricant.

Performance characteristics
- when applied to the surface of a heated die, it forms a uniform layer of lubricant with high antifriction properties
- reduces friction, thereby reducing the force of metal deformation
- separates the surfaces of the forging and the tool from each other and ensures
- uninterrupted removal of forgings
- prevents the occurrence of defects on the workpiece, improves the surface quality
- reduces the proportion of defective parts
- increases the durability of forging dies and pressing tools
- reduces overheating of individual areas of the forging die
- does not contain substances that cause corrosion of metals
- does not corrode the tool and machine parts
Use
- Supplied ready for use.
- The lubricant is applied to the tool automatically by spraying at a pressure of up to 10 bar and higher. It can be applied with a brush or a squeegee.
- To regulate the viscosity when applied to the tool, Politren M-7 can be diluted with oil. It is most effective to use oil with a high flash point for dilution.
- The lubricant is an economically advantageous means for hot stamping and pressing.
Требования безопасности, токсикологические свойства и охрана окружающей среды
The process lubricant Politren M-7 is a flammable liquid with a flash point in an open crucible of at least 200°C. According to GOST 12.1.007-76, the lubricant belongs to the lowest hazard class IV of low-hazard chemical compounds.
The main components that pollute the air of the working area when using process lubricant in hot metal processing processes are mineral oil aerosol (MPC – 5 mg / m3), graphite aerosol (MPC – 10 mg / m3) and carbon monoxide (CO) – (MPC – 20 mg / m3). Politren M-7 does not irritate the skin, mucous membranes of the eyes and upper respiratory tract, and does not have the ability to sensitize.
The premises in which work with lubricant is carried out must be equipped with continuously operating supply and exhaust mechanical ventilation. Monitoring of the air environment in production areas is carried out according to the schedule of monitoring the air environment of the workshop, agreed with the local sanitary and epidemiological service authorities.
Service personnel working with lubricants must be provided with a set of special clothing and personal protective equipment in accordance with standard industry standards.
Lubricant that gets on the skin of the hands and face should be removed with a clean rag, the remains should be washed off with warm water and soap.
If lubricant gets on the working parts of mechanisms, the floor, it is removed with a rag, and the remains are washed off with water and soap.
Polytren M-7 process lubricant is an oily liquid, insoluble in water. Its maximum permissible concentration in water bodies (MPCv), determined by oil, is 0.4 mg / l.
To develop and manufacture its products, POLIHIM uses its own laboratory and production facilities, which are equipped with all the necessary equipment.
