High performance properties
- does not require additional mixing during operation due to almost complete emulsion stability
- has excellent cleaning and penetrating properties
- does not require frequent coolant changes in circulation systems
- no foaming
- frost-resistant – does not lose its properties when frozen
- is biostatic – has high resistance to microorganisms and fungi
High ecological properties
- does not rot
- does not emit a sharp unpleasant odor
- in the form of a concentrate and emulsion does not penetrate intact skin, does not have a sensitizing effect, does not have an irritating effect on the skin, on the mucous membranes of the eyes and upper respiratory tract
- does not irritate the skin of the hands
- does not contain nitrites, boric acid, ethylene glycol, phenol derivatives that are harmful to health
- is not an intensive source of air pollution in the working area
- according to toxicological properties, it belongs to low-hazard substances (the lowest hazard class IV according to GOST 12.1.007-76)
High efficiency
- low consumption
- low concentration (the concentrate is diluted with water 10÷30 times)
- practically insensitive to water hardness
- does not require special preparation of water used to dilute the coolant
- long service life in circulation systems without replacement
- used coolant is easily decomposed using conventional technology
Use
Politren E-42V is supplied as a concentrate and must be diluted with water before use. Dilution can be done periodically or continuously. When diluting periodically, it is sufficient to use a conventional mixer and stir for 10-30 minutes, then let stand and stir completely. When diluting continuously, high-speed ejector or other mixers are used. The emulsion concentration is selected empirically, taking into account the type and speed of the processing operation, the grade of the metal being processed, and other operating conditions.
It is recommended to work with an emulsion concentration of 2-4% for grinding operations. For blade processing, the average concentration is 4-5%, under severe and especially severe conditions, the concentration is increased to 6-10%, and the concentration during rolling is 3-8%.
Before pouring Politren E-42V coolant, the machines and coolant supply lines must be flushed and disinfected from previously used coolant. It is best to do this using a special cleaning and disinfecting agent Politren MD.
Safety Requirements, Toxicological Properties and Environmental Protection
Concentrate Politren E-42V is a flammable liquid with a flash point in an open crucible of at least 180°C.
Polytren E-42V is classified as a low-hazard substance by its toxicological properties (the lowest hazard class IV according to GOST 12.1. 007-76).
Polytren E-42V in the form of a concentrate and emulsion does not penetrate intact skin, does not have a sensitizing effect, does not irritate the skin, mucous membranes of the eyes and upper respiratory tract, and is not an intensive source of air pollution in the working area.
The main component polluting the air of the working area when using cutting fluids
Polytren E-42V is a mineral oil aerosol (MPC 5 mg/m3). Premises where work is carried out with Politren E-42V. must be equipped with continuously operating supply and exhaust mechanical ventilation.
Monitoring of the air environment in production areas is carried out according to the schedule of monitoring the air environment of the workshop, agreed with local sanitary and epidemiological authorities.
Service personnel working with the cutting fluid Politren E-42V must be provided with a set of special clothing and personal protective equipment in accordance with standard industry standards.
When preparing working emulsions of cutting fluid Politren E-42V and when using them, the requirements of the “Sanitary rules for working with cutting fluids and process lubricants”, No. 3935-85 dated September 29, 1985, must be observed.
If the cutting fluid Politren E-42V gets on your hands or face, remove it with a clean soft cloth, rinse off the remains with plenty of water or rinse with warm water. If the cutting fluid gets on the mucous membrane of your eyes, rinse your eyes with plenty of warm water and apply sodium sulfacyl drops.
If the cutting fluid gets on the working parts of the mechanisms, remove it with a cloth and rinse off the remains with water. When disposing of used cutting fluid, follow the maximum permissible standards for the most toxic component. The maximum permissible concentration of cutting fluid Politren E-42V in water bodies (MPCv), determined by the most toxic water-insoluble component oil, is 0.4 mg/l, by the most toxic water-soluble component triethanolamine, is 1.4 mg/l, the maximum concentration of Politren E-42V, determined by triethanolamine, fed to bio-treatment (MCb), is 5 mg/l.
To develop and manufacture its products, POLIHIM uses its own laboratory and production facilities, which are equipped with all the necessary equipment.
